Due to the Calgary Flying Club's mandate and structure we do not offer training services specifically for students from outside of Canada.
International Students interested in taking flight training at the Calgary Flying Club should be aware of the following:
Student Visas
The Club does not arrange for student visas to come to Canada to study, nor does the Club sponsor individuals for student visas. Persons interested in training at the Club must make all Visa arrangements themselves.
Accomodations
The Club does not provide or otherwise arrange for student accomodations while training at the Club.
Transportation
The Club does not arrange for student transportation to Canada, nor does the Club provide transportation to students once at the Club. Students should be aware that the Club is located outside Calgary and that there is no public transportation to and from the airport.
International Financing
The Club does not provide loans or grants to students wishing to come to Canada to take flight training.
Many flight training schools in Canada provide specific flight training services for international students and interested persons can find out more by searching the Internet.
