Yearly Events:

Spring Fling - Dust off your headset from its long winter's nap and come out to kick off the season of warm-weather flying!  We're starting off with a buffet breakfast for members and invited guests, followed by a convoy to Edmonton City Centre for lunch.  Book your aircraft early for this event!!  In the event of non-flying weather, a "low level convoy" will depart to Canmore for beer-tasting at the Grizzly Paw Pub. 

Graduation/Member's Banquet - Details are forthcoming.  Stay tuned to the website or check with Dispatch. 

Stampede Breakfast - Get into your favorite cowboy boots and hat and come out to the CFC hangar for the best breakfast in town!  Be sure to arrive early.  Yahoo!! 

Member's BBQ/Corn Roast - Members and guests are invited to join the Calgary Flying Club in our hangar for some great burgers, sausages, corn and all the fixin's.  Great fun for the entire family!

Chili Cook-off - Dig out your favorite chili recipe, put it in a crockpot and bring it to the CFC for a fun night of judging and sampling!  This year, the challenge is to beat Dave Mapplebeck's "Jet A" chili from last year - a real 'afterburner'!!!  Prizes are awarded for Best Overall, Runner Up, Most Interesting and HOTTEST chilis!  Cash bar includes Mexican beer and tequilla.

Christmas Open House - Please join us in the lounge upstairs for drinks and appetizers.
