Club Newsletter – Aug 14th 2018

Commercial Ground School: Our next start date will be September 12. Classes will be on Wednesday night from 1800 to 2200 and Saturday Morning from 0800 to noon. The course will be lead by Bill Bulek and guest lecturers. A schedule will be available at dispatch shortly. Last day to register will be August 31st. The poster is attached. Stampede Breakfast: Mark your calendar for July 8th! Were hosting our annual Stampede Breakfast. It will run from 8 to 11am. We are still looking for some volunteers to help out. Club Newsletter – May 20th 2018

Club Updates Member Event/Pub Night: Saturday May 26 will be the next Member Event. Our “Members Mingle” will start at 12h30. Club Newsletter – April 20th 2018

High School Visit: On May 7th, CFC will be giving a presentation to students of Crescent Heights High School about the club and careers in aviation. Fuel Surcharge: Effective Monday April 23rd we will be eliminating the fuel surcharge. Our fuel supply has finally normalized allowing us to open our pumps again to all pilots. Member Reward Contest - Starting Monday March 12th we will be giving out one entry for every $200 paid by debit or cheque or cash. If you place $1500 or more on account by debit, cheque or cash you will receive 10 entries. Club Newsletter – February 16th 2018

Our fuel supplier has given the Calgary Flying Club notice to quarantine all fuel. This may effect anyone who has purchased AVGAS from us since December 28th and has the fuel still sitting in your tank. Until more information is available, we do not recommended to fly on this quarantined fuel. As a precaution AVGAS will not be available for purchase until new fuel is obtained or an appropriate alternate solution is found.
